How to Utilize our Search

For those of you unaware, our technology team didn't only spend time to create a strong crawling technology. They also built a good searching technology.

A lot of features are available to use to search our results. Here are some of them that you may be familiar with since many of them are used by the large web search engines:

  • use the plus sign (+) to force a word to be there (i.e. "pizza +beer" finds matches for pizza search but they must also have beer, spelled exactly that way, in the location)
  • use the minus sign (-) to force word NOT to be there (i.e. "pizza -beer" finds matches for pizza search but they must not have beer in their keywords)
  • use asterisk to create a substring search (i.e. "pizz*" matches both pizza and pizzeria)
  • use quotes around words to force a phrase match
  • use parentheses to group any of the above

In addition to the search operators above, you can also search against keywords or against names of locations.

All of these features are provided to you to enable you to get the most comprehensive tools available to find what you want.
