Mackinaw's Grill

f you like cold, tasteless food, this is the place for you. We ate here in December 2006 and had a really awful meal. For starters, the restaurant was freezing cold. Unfortunately, so was our food. There were six of us, and we all had to send our meals back to be heated. The kitchen had served all of the food on ice-cold plates, which didn't help any. Once we finally started eating, we were really disappointed in the quality. The steaks were tough. The "kobe beef" hamburger resembled a hockey puck and was inedible. For such high prices we expected a lot better. We live in the Flathead Valley and love to go out to eat, but we'll never return to Mackinaws. I'd suggest going to Kalispell to Caper's or Reds or to Bigfork, where there are a number of good restaurants.
